I. Humpback Whale: As often as possible, we capture vocalizations of whales during their activities. However, it's usually difficult to identify exactly which whale is doing the 'talking', as sounds underwater can often seem to be coming from every direction.
II. Humpback Whale: Groan-like calls are a common feature of humpback whales vocalizations.
III. Humpback Whale: This sample includes both high pitched 'chirps' and low frequency 'grunts' from the same animal.
IV. Humpback Whale: This moan-like call is from a humpback whale.
V. Humpback Whale: A short, distinctive sequence from the feeding grounds.
Surprisingly 'bird-like chirps' from a large humpback whale.

VI. Minke Whale: Our smallest baleen whale and found throughout the world, the minke whale is a relatively poorly studied species, with little known about its vocalizations.
