| We all know that humpback whales are curious about things around them, including floating seaweed. |
Venom and Beacon (both seen here) spent quite awhile playing in the seaweed, sometimes rolling or lifting their heads. |

| The whales will often use the head and upper back to 'catch' the seaweed. Remember that the 'bumps' on the head are sensitive hair follicles. |
As the boat idled, the whales often approached the boat closely, while enjoying the new found plaything on the water's surface. |
