| Whales' eyes are on the sides of their skulls, not far from the corner of the mouth. Here in the top center, above the throat, you can see the eye socket. |
Although all whales have flippers, or pectoral fins, humpback whales have the longest of any whale species, over 14 feet long on large adults. |
